i hope you all had a lovely presidents' day, i certainly did.

i don't have the energy to do full-fledged orotund service to this, but i'll just put it out there and you, my loyal zero readers, can discuss it via comments. on saturday i saw an ad on t.v. for some department store having a huge presidents' day sale. images of women and kids in fashionable clothes. V.O.: "What would the Presidents want us to do on Presidents' Day?" more happy looking people. V.O.: "What could be more patriotic than getting huge savings on men's, women's, and kidswear?"
