in this time when abstinence-only is funded better than after school programs, and when our president and first lady express shock and disturbance at gay people committing to each other en masse, this woman is so delightfully refreshing. my sister and i discovered her one night while flipping channels, and were at once mortified and compelled to keep watching. i'm glad she's getting some recognition (and some action, apparently).
