mental status: awakening from hibernation

developing story: i will come back and talk about this more later. when it's the union's data, it's bullshit; when it's the government's own data, it's unimportant and irrelevant.

the bottom line is what i (and bella and howard at the AFT) have been saying all along, which is that charter schools are not the answer; they are a tool that can be used to create better schools. i think ED will start to get that now.
